Today we’ve started reading The Iron Man by Ted Hughes. In chapter 1 he fell off a cliff and smashed into tiny pieces. We have also been thinking and writing about where he came from. I think he came from the Frankeinsteins lab!

On the last day of the Spring Term our class spent the day learning about some European countries that we had been linked to for an Easter Project. We sent Easter recipes and traditions to Poland, Italy, Romania, Portugal and Czech Republic. We learnt about their countries, practised some simple language and learnt about their culture.

Year 3 will continue to have weekly swimming lessons. Please bring your swimming kit.

This term our topic is The Rise of the Robots. Our main focus will be materials. We will be reading the classic book The Iron Man by Ted Hughes.
