TREASURERS REPORT -
UPDATE ON ALAN PAN NIGHT – £30 profit – disappointing, but due to low turnout
UPDATE OF FOOTBALL EVENT – £320 profit
UPDATE ON SUMMER FAYRE - £2300 – which is proposed to be matched funded by MBNA taking total to £4600
TOTAL MONEY AVAILABLE TO SPEND FOR 2010/2011 C/F £10,000
PURCHASING/DEVELOPMENT OF OUTSIDE AREAS & FACILITIES IN SCHOOL – discussions took place on suggestions where the money can be spent, however our ideas will be discussed with the Governing body so we can work together on future projects. The Governors were invited to attend our next HSA meeting which will also be our AGM.
It was also decided that the HSA would again provide each class with another £100 gift – for them to discuss as a class and decide on how this money would be best spent.
OVERVIEW ON SUMMER FAYRE – discussions took place on the success/failiures at the event and how we need to approach it for next year.
Although we raised a fantastic £2300 we were down by about £1000 on last year’s total. This was mainly due to the fact that quite a few profit making stalls had to be closed as we had no volunteers to man them, despite there being a very high attendance rate. We would urge each and every one of you to consider spending just a small amount of your time each year helping us to raise funds which your children will benefit from. Without the HSA this school and ultimately your children will loose out on resources that will benefit every single child.
