All Saints’ School Gresford

Sailing has re-started with over 20 children learning to sail their Optomist sailing boats on a Thursday evening between 6 and 8 pm. We are fortunate to have the support of Mr. and Mrs. Evans and Mr. Gethin Morris who mans the safety tender to ensure the children’s safety. He is often accompanied by his son Gareth who takes the children out in one of the larger boats to give them the experience of crewing a boat instead of just the one-man boats.

Reccently we have been organising races for the children. It is surprising how quickly they have remembered all that they have been taught in the first term. During the next five weeks we shall be organising many other races as well as other water based events for the children who take part.
